I was so excited when Allyssa and Michele asked me to photograph an intimate anniversary session with them in Michigan this fall. They have been happily married for 4 years now and have two little girls. However, they decided they wanted to do something to celebrate their anniversary, just the two of them. They landed on an anniversary photoshoot with me.
It was a warm and sunny September evening. We had planned a fun, creative and editorial photoshoot. We met in Romeo, Michigan and explored the downtown to begin with. Then we headed into nature, meandering through the grassy fields near Stony Creek. Allyssa wore an elegant pink dress with a faint flower print. I loved her chunky cream platform high-heels that she paired with it. Michele wore a sophisticated navy blue suit with a matching blue plaid tie and complementary brown leather dress shoes. The light got so beautiful as the sun was setting behind the trees. Truly, nothing was more beautiful than seeing the love and laughter between them. It was an honor to capture the connection between these two.
