Custom Wedding Proposal

April 26th, 2024 - Silver Shores Waterfront: Wyandotte, Michigan

Known for my photojournalistic approach with romance in mind, my passion lies in capturing wedding days candidly and artfully directed. Even on the biggest days of our lives, I believe that the small details tell the best stories. The beginning of your legacy will be preserved forever in the art of photographs for generations to come.

I want you to be so completely immersed in your day that when you receive your final gallery, there are moments and details captured that you didn't even notice happening. I want you to look and feel like a million bucks without worry while you're actually present on your wedding day.

My approach to wedding days is candid and artfully directed as needed which truly creates a memorable experience. I carefully curate a blend of timeless editorial-inspired images and candid moments to showcase your whole story. I believe in having the best of both worlds.

WELCOME

Jennifer & Francisco, it was wonderful chatting with you this morning! I love that we instantly clicked, and everything you shared with me about your wedding day vision and the plans you’ve made so far. I am honored to be considered as part of such a special occasion in your life.

On our call, we chatted about your April 26th, 2024 wedding at Silver Shores Waterfront.

We’re looking at around 10-12 hours of wedding day coverage, with a first touch and the portraits done after the ceremony. It’s important to you and Francisco to focus on feeling present on your wedding day alongside your closest friends and family who came to experience your day with you. I’m already familiar with your chosen venue and I cannot wait to head over to the venue in person for a more in-depth scouting. Plus, I love being near the water, so I’m already super inspired. Be sure to connect me or pass along the contact information of the venue coordinator that is assigned to your date! I am all about my couples and their families being able to relax on their wedding day, so please let me send a list of coordinators that can help the entire day from getting ready to the ceremony and reception. An included venue coordinator is great, but their first priority is ultimately the venue and what happens there.

A little more:

+ Communication is so important, so you'll always have constant contact with me. I also have handbooks I've created that I'll be sending you in the future so you feel supported and prepared throughout your planning process.

+ For sessions, you’ll receive your online gallery in 3 weeks or less.

+ For your wedding day, your online gallery will be sent to you in 6-8 weeks or less. I share sneak peek photos within a few days and a blog highlighting your wedding day in a couple of weeks.

+ The galleries are sent to you via email on an online gallery with digital download and printing right so you can share them with family and friends.

+ To make sure the day runs smoothly with enough time for all the photos your heart desires, we’ll work together to create your entire photo timeline.

ala carte and information:

While I do not require an engagement session with me before your wedding, I highly recommend one! I believe it’s done best when couples have a relationship with their photographer and fully trust them. When I arrive on a wedding day, we need to feel like old friends and not like strangers. These sessions ensure that you will go into your wedding day feeling comfortable and confident in front of the camera and we'll get to know each other better! We can chat about what your dream engagement session looks like and add one on at any time. They're up to two hours to give us enough buffer time between locations.

ala cartE:

Rehearsal Dinner or Brunch coverage (2-3 Hours): 300/hr

Additional Hourly Coverage for your Wedding Day: 500/hr

Additional Photographer: 600/day

Engagement session: 500

Ala carte options can be added during the months of your wedding planning and an updated contract will be created at the time of agreement. I know there are a lot of things to consider in the beginning stages of planning, so I am flexible. I want to make sure you get the exact coverage you want for your wedding.

Additional photographer(s):

I solely will be able to capture every important moment of your day without missing any “must-takes.” However, I always recommend a second shooter for weddings consisting of 150 guests or more, if there are multiple photo locations, or if you specifically want cocktail hour photographed. For the specific timelines created below, an additional photographer would be great to capture the groomsmen getting ready photos and capturing candids during cocktail hour while we’re doing portraits or while I photograph your reception details. I will always be the one photographing all of your main formal photos, they will look cohesive throughout your wedding gallery.

SAMPLE TIMELINES

Below, I've created a sample timeline based off what we talked about today including a first touch. It includes ten hours of coverage from 12 to 10 pm. Even with 10 hours of coverage you'll certainly need a second photographer with 250 guests and the portraits happening after the ceremony. With an additional hour you could get more getting ready time, so I can put together beautiful flat lays of your details, and we can ease into the day with photo, plus we could weave in more time to better photograph the reception details as that wasn't a priority in the timeline below. We could also have a second photographer do this. You also have the option for some sunset photos, I looked and the sunset for your specific date, it is projected around 8:27 pm.

10 Hours

12:00 Photographer arrival time, detail styling, getting ready candids (Second photographer could also arrive to groom for candids/portraits + his details or stays with bride while Elise photographs details until HMU wraps up)
